Southern Cultures Featured Content: Refighting the Civil War

How should we remember the Civil War? This month
www.SouthernCultures.org continues to answer the question of the
Sesquicentennial with more featured content-an essay from Louis D.
Rubin, "Refighting the Civil War: General Longstreet and Me."

The Civil War and its aftermath have always been important subjects
for Southern Cultures, and we're marking the War's Sesquicentennial
with special content in our archive of online material on the War,
which the Library of Congress has selected for inclusion in its own
archives that explore commemorations of the War and its
Sesquicentennial. During the past year alone, over 40,000 people have
read Southern Cultures in print, online, and through eBooks, and you
can read all our new featured content and previously published
material on the Civil War by visiting our online archive.
