Unveiling of CHIN's New Websites
Good things come to those who wait. The launch of our updated websites will strengthen CHIN's ability to serve the heritage community and to network with museums across the country. With a vibrant look and feel, the sites feature new content and functionality, including a powerful search engine that will provide integrated access to materials. Over 1,000 new learning objects and 150 engaging virtual exhibits, such as the award-winning A Journey into Time Immemorial, will be available to visitors. New resources for museum professionals on topics ranging from standards to social media will be presented, and over 5,000 biographies of Canadian artists will be added to Artists in Canada, developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Canada.
